Abby Harris is a student at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale IL studying photojournalism with a minor in marketing. She is a creative media intern for Saluki Athletics, the lead photographer for the baseball team and does social media, video and photography for the Salukis. She enjoys the creative freedom that she gets and the relationships that are built with the athletes and other employees. She has enjoyed photography since a young age and knew it was something to pursue as a career in college.

Harris is the recipient of an Honorable Mention Award of Excellence from ICPA for her photo essay in the Daily Egyptian.

In Summer 2024-2025 she was employed as the Director of Photography and Creative Media for the Mainers in Sanford, Maine. May 2026, after graduating, she is looking to find an internship with a college or professional organization.
